Mondays are a great day to honor your ancestors. Here’s a picture of today’s offering. I always offer clear water and a white candle, but today I got the inkling that they wanted a bit more 🙂 Whiskey is a traditional alcohol to offer, so there’s a little snifter of that. I also gave them coffee, one black and one with cream and sugar. I give them some incense too. Ancestor veneration is at the heart of Vodou, and making it a regular practice will bring tons of blessings to your life.
